The 5-Step 14.5″ Ultralight works perfectly with our 2007 Toyota Tundra Double Cab – setting it on top of the back seat (about 36 inches up). We have a 125 pound Rottweiler and a 40 pound Springer Spaniel – both took to the steps in under 5 minutes with minimal coaxing. Before buying the Pet Loader we tried various stools, ladders, ramps and they were not comfortable with any of them. This was a big investment – we were worried not only about the cost but also that it might be difficult & heavy to put up and tear down. We couldn’t be more pleased. Setup & teardown are quick & easy, after doing it a few times it only takes a few seconds. The handles make it easy to store- no trouble lifting it into the truck box or passenger seat. This is one of those great products that looks simple but obviously has years of ingenuity and smart design enhancements built into it. The build quality is outstanding and we expect it will last a long time. We are glad that we bought it and would definitely buy one again should the need arise. We also love that it is made in America, there needs to be a lot more of that going on! Thank you for a great product, we will tell all our friends.

I purchased this to be used with my lifted 2022 Jeep Wrangler. Unfortunately, my 12-year-old German Shepard’s ramp became too steep after the Jeep was lifted.
I had to modify the driver’s side back door to open wider, and the 14.5″ platform fits with a few inches of room to spare, which is perfect.
I had previously replaced my back seat with a Goose Gear platform kit which gives my dog more of a pickup truck bed experience, and that platform is 38″ off the ground now. So I ordered the Pet Loader with 5-steps, which works perfectly with the new interior height.
My only complaint is that I wish that the Pet Loader Ultra Light 14.5″ Platform came in ABS plastic. I think it would have been easier to work with since I use the ramp several times daily. Having said that the Pet Loader is built very well, and is sturdy enough for my 80lbs. dog. It is build to last, and I am gad that I bought it.
